OECD & EURASIA intro
For more than a quarter-century, the OECD has worked closely with the Eurasia region to encourage sustainable and inclusive growth in Eurasia, promoting structural reforms and capacity building, and facilitating policy dialogue.
Today, the OECD provides country-specific support for Kazakhstan and Ukraine, while other countries in the region benefit from different forms of engagement with the Organisation.
The OECD Eurasia Competitiveness Programme was created in 2008 to help the region address its economic challenges. The OECD Eurasia Competitiveness Roundtable was then launched in 2013 to provide a platform for peer review and knowledge sharing.
OECD Eurasia Week is a high-level annual event that fosters exchanges and mutually-beneficial linkages between the region and the global community. It serves as a platform for a discussion on a broad spectrum of thematic issues relevant to further improving the region’s competitiveness.
