Evaluation of the Australia-Vietnam country strategy 2010-15

The primary purpose of this evaluation is to assist in the delivery of the remainder of DFAT’s existing country strategy in Vietnam (2010-15) and to inform future country strategy development and execution. This is achieved by assessing the effectiveness of DFAT’s development and implementation of the country strategy, the indicative results obtained and the legacy of past Australian aid investments.

Review of the Uganda country strategy 2010-2015

The total bilateral ODA of Austria to Uganda between 1994 and 2012 amounted to 158 million Euro and focused mainly on water, sanitation and rights, justice and peace. The review of the current Uganda country strategy assessed the relevance, impact and effectiveness of its strategic focus and provides important input for the elaboration of Austria's next Uganda Country Strategy.

Evaluation of EU cooperation with Bolivia (2007-2013)

This evaluation assesses the EU’s past and current cooperation with Bolivia and its implementation over 2007-2013. The evaluation concluded that in spite of early delays, the high levels of execution of the resources assigned to the country programme are a good sign of efficiency although the outcomes in the different axes varied. In general, goals were reached within programmed costs.

Finland’s Development Cooperation with Kenya in 2007-2013

Kenya is one of Finland’s long-term partner countries. This evaluation analyses this relationship as it unfolded in 2007–2013, and offers recommendations that reflect the evolution of development cooperation circumstances and policies. Finnish cooperation has been channelled to three main sectors: governance, rural development/agriculture, and natural resources management, with total annual disbursements of approximately €10 million.

Partnership for Growth Midterm Evaluation - El Salvador

The Partnership for Growth (PFG) aims to achieve accelerated, sustained, and broad-based economic growth in partner countries, including El Salvador. The evaluation team found that PFG has aided in positive movement of policy reforms in El Salvador. The initial PFG planning laid a good foundation for implementing the overall initiative. Also, PFG increased leverage for implementing USG development activities in El Salvador.

Avaliação do Programa Indicativo de Cooperação Portugal-Timor Leste

A presente avaliação é um exercício conjunto realizado pelo GAAI/IPAD e pelo MNE de Timor-Leste. Tal como é referido nos TdR, os objectivos da avaliação são: conhecer o desempenho da cooperação Portuguesa em Timor-Leste e dar aos Governos Português e Timorense uma base para decidir sobre possíveis mudanças ou adaptação da estratégia, eixos e áreas de intervenção da cooperação entre os dois Estados.

Avaliação do Programa Indicativo de Cooperação Portugal - São Tomé e Príncipe

A presente avaliação tem como objecto as intervenções de desenvolvimento enquadradas no Programa Indicativo de Cooperação (PIC) 2008-2011. Tendo em consideração a estratégia de desenvolvimento definida por S. Tomé e Príncipe, através do documento Estratégia Nacional de Redução da Pobreza, e os princípios e linhas de acção da Cooperação Portuguesa, foram identificados como eixos principais de intervenção.

Avaliação conjunta do programa indicativo de cooperação Portugal-Angola (2007-2010)

A presente avaliação é um exercício conjunto realizado pelo Portugal e Angola. e pelo MIREX de Angola. Os objectivos da avaliação são fornecer informação relevante à cooperação portuguesa e a Angola sobre a programação e implementação da cooperação entre os dois países que permita tomar decisões sobre a programação futura e identificar lições e propor recomendações para a reorientação da estratégia do PIC.

Reintroduction of the Portuguese Language in East Timor

The external evaluation expressed in this report focuses on the Project for the Reintroduction of the Portuguese Language in East Timor in the period between 2003 and 2009. This project of the Portuguese Cooperation aims to support the creation of basic conditions in the Timorese society, and particularly, in the education system for the use of Portuguese as an official language and a language of instruction.
