Peer Reviews of fruit and vegetables quality inspection systems
The OECD Fruit and Vegetables Scheme undertakes Peer Reviews which provide a systematic examination and assessment of the performance of a country's fruit and vegetable quality inspection systems, with two ultimate goals:
- To help to improve policy making, adopt best practices, and comply with established international standards and principles; and
- To harmonise the interpretation of quality standards and the implementation of common or similar rules applied in the fruit and vegetables quality inspection system.
