Peer Reviews of fruit and vegetables quality inspection systems

The OECD Fruit and Vegetables Scheme undertakes Peer Reviews which provide a systematic examination and assessment of the performance of a country's fruit and vegetable quality inspection systems, with two ultimate goals:

  • To help to improve policy making, adopt best practices, and comply with established international standards and principles; and

  • To harmonise the interpretation of quality standards and the implementation of common or similar rules applied in the fruit and vegetables quality inspection system.

The following Peer Reviews analyse the fruit and vegetable quality inspection systems in the countries presented.
