OECD to release Economic Outlook on Thursday 2 May 2024


The OECD will publish its latest Economic Outlook, containing analysis and projections for the world economy, OECD member countries, G20 countries and key partners, on Thursday 2 May 2024.


OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann and Chief Economist Clare Lombardelli will present the Outlook (in English, with French interpretation) at 09:00 CEST (07:00 GMT). The presentation will be open to press. Register to cover the Economic Outlook launch on site.


Registration also gives access to the open sessions of the annual Meeting of the OECD Council at Ministerial Level on 2-3 May.


A summary of the Economic Outlook and key data will be freely accessible on the OECD’s web site at http://www.oecd.org/economic-outlook/. You are invited to include this Internet link in reports on the Outlook.


Journalists unable to attend the presentation of the Economic Outlook can register to cover the launch via interactive Zoom. The Economic Outlook presentation will also be webcast live, without registration.


Media requests to receive the Economic Outlook under embargo prior to release should be sent by e-mail to embargo@oecd.org. Journalists requesting an electronic version in advance of the release time agree to respect OECD embargo conditions.
