OECD/INFE Technical Assistance Project on Financial Education in the CIS - Peer Learning

 

Phase II of the OECD/INFE Technical Assistance Project on Financial Education in the CIS included peer learning initiatives aimed at creating a network where partner countries could share their experiences in building national strategies for financial education, discuss lessons learned and challenges overcome, and plan next steps. Peer learning activities addressed financial education topics in general and more specific issues. Examples included: financial education in school curricula and extra-curricular work; experience in content preparation; digital dissemination of information; and, monitoring, evaluation and KPIs, as well as other topics of interest to policy makers.

The peer learning activities started in 2020 and provided an opportunity for knowledge sharing between institutions in the different partner countries participating in the project in a creative and encouraging format. It also facilitated the sharing of success stories that could be replicated across countries. Topics were selected based on the most pressing challenges faced by policy makers in the region.

On a regular basis (quarterly), peer learning activities were organised in collaboration with the partner countries based on their needs and priorities. The peer learning activities were tailor made to respond to the needs of one specific country or designed to respond to the overall needs of the CIS partner countries. The events were open to all partner countries and their stakeholders.

Мероприятия по обмену опытом начались в 2020 году и позволили различным организациям из стран, участвующих в проекте, учиться на опыте друг друга и обмениваться информацией в творческом, вдохновляющем формате. К тому же это упрощал распространение информации о результативных тактиках, которые могли бы перенять другие страны. Темы были выбраныс учетом проблем, наиболее актуальных для политического руководства стран региона.

Регулярные (ежеквартальные) мероприятия по обмену опытом были организованы в сотрудничестве со странами-партнерами исходя из их потребностей и приоритетов. Новые мероприятия были основаны на индивидуальном подходе, чтобы отвечать потребностям отдельно взятой страны, или планируются с учетом общих потребностей стран СНГ. К участию были приглашены все страны-партнеры и заинтересованные стороны.
