Prime Minister of Latvia visits OECD, 12 November 2013

The Prime Minister of Latvia, Mr. Valdis Dombrovskis, visited the OECD on 12 November and delivered a special address to the members of the Council following the decision to open accession discussions reached at the last OECD Ministerial Council Meeting, in May 2013. During his intervention, the Prime Minister stressed the importance that his country attaches to OECD membership as a catalyst for reforms, as well as the value added that Latvia can bring to the Organisation. Mr. Dombrovskis also discussed the Accession Roadmap approved by Council last 15 October and setting the main milestones on Latvia’s path towards OECD membership.
