UNEP has developed a reporting template which allows countries to report on fossil-fuel subsidy reform under SDG12 (“Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns”) and the related Target 12.c and Indicator 12.c.1. Of the EU’s Eastern Partner countries, Armenia has been selected to fill in and test the reporting template and provide feedback on the facility of its completion.

The 2021 Annual meeting of the GREEN Action Task Force took place from 12-13 October in the form of a virtual online meeting. The conference provided an opportunity for members and partners to discuss their progress in implementing the GREEN Action Task Force work programme.

Within EU4Environment, the kick-off meeting on “Monitoring Ukraine’s Progress towards Green Economy using Green Growth Indicators” launched the work to update the pilot set of the OECD-based green growth indicators in the country. This work will help raise awareness, measure progress and identify opportunities and risks in implementing the National Environmental Policy Strategy until 2030.
