Regulatory Environmental Programme Implementation Network

Regulatory Environmental Programme Implementation Network - REPIN (previously known as NISECEN - NIS Environmental Compliance and Enforcement Network) is the main mechanism for dialogue and exchange of experience between policy-makers and practitioners from ministries of environment, economy and finance on issues of environmental policy implementation and green growth in the EECCA region. It also facilitates know-how transfer and donor assistance to EECCA countries. The Network is open to the participation of representatives of industry and non-government experts from EECCA as well as officials and experts from OECD and EU countries.

The Network holds annual meetings to discuss and agree on the work programme, specific projects and monitor their implementation. The work programme implementation involves EECCA Regional Environmental Centres (RECs) in carrying out specific analytical, training and dissemination activities.

The REPIN is a member of the International Network for Environmental Compliance and Enforcement (INECE). The REPIN work also draws from, and, where appropriate, contributes to, activities of the EU Network for the Implementation and Enforcement of Environmental Law (IMPEL) and the Asian Environmental Compliance and Enforcement Network (AECEN).
