Kick-off meeting of the EU Social Protection Systems Programme held at the OECD in Paris
FRANCE, SEPTEMBER 2015. The Kick-off Meeting for the EU Social Protection Systems Programme brought together key stakeholders and partners for a discussion on how best to support countries in the development and reform of national social protection systems. By bringing together policy-makers, researchers, practitioners, and donor partners, the event fostered a debate and reflection about the challenges and opportunities for the systematization of social protection in developing countries, and how research and capacity building can best to support national efforts. Throughout the one-day meeting, a series of panel discussions explored these issues in greater detail.
