    Thirty Years of Rwandan-German Development Cooperation in the Health Sector

    The evaluation has assessed 30 years of cooperation in the Rwandan health sector. The results shed light on how development cooperation in the health sector has developed over many years, while experiencing changing political and socioeconomic contexts and aid modalities. Rwandan partners have used the findings for their own management of this sector and their cooperation with other development partners.

    NGOs in action: A study of activities in sexual and reproductive health and rights by Dutch NGOs

    Capacity development of Southern partners played a large role in the interventions. Overall, the NGOs’ assistance in this area was greatly appreciated by the partners, but the evaluations provide limited information about the strategies followed and results achieved.

    Indonesia: Decentralized Health Services Project

    This performance evaluation report provides a set of lessons from a sector-wide, reform-based health program in Indonesia going through a process of decentralizing government services since 1999. The findings from the evaluation will feed into higher-level evaluations, including validation of the country partnership strategy final review planned for 2014.
