Meta-Evaluation of interventions undertaken by the Luxembourg Cooperation in the subsector of professional training in hospitality and tourism - abstract
The Meta-Evaluation assesses interventions undertaken by the Luxembourg Cooperation in the sub-sector of vocational training in hospitality and tourism in four partner countries: Cape Verde, Nicaragua, Lao PDR and Vietnam. It aims at providing an aggregation of findings based on existing documentation, previous evaluations, as well as a field mission conducted in the first quarter of 2014. English abstract

El objetivo de la evaluación intermedia del PIC 2011-2014 es valorar la contribución de Luxemburgo a la realización de las estrategias de desarrollo de la República de Nicaragua y evaluar las intervenciones en curso en relación con estas estrategias. Se trata de evaluar los sectores del PIC y el PIC en su integralidad, para comprobar si existe una concentración sectorial, y, de identificar las eventuales reorientaciones y evoluciones.

Midterm review of the Indicative Cooperation Programme in the Republic of Nicaragua - Executive Summary
The objective of the midterm review of the ICP 2011-2014 is to evaluate Luxembourg’s contribution to the fulfilment of development strategies in the Republic of Nicaragua and to analyse ongoing interventions towards these strategies. The idea is to evaluate the sector and the ICP as a whole, to check whether there is a sectorial concentration and to identify potential improvements and redirections.

This report presents the findings of a policy evaluation of the Dutch involvement in the field of sexual and reproductive health and rights during the period 2007-2012. This policy evaluation is based on a number of sub-studies, including country impact studies in Bangladesh, Nicaragua and Mali, desk-studies of Ghana and Tanzania, and desk-studies of existing evaluations of multilateral organisations and NGOs.

The Impact of Rural Business Services on the Economic Well-being of Small Farmers in Nicaragua
The independent evaluation found varied results looking at farm income and household consumption. In addition, although the evaluation was not originally designed to test whether or not farm investments increased as a result of the training and increase in farm income, the evaluators did look at changes in investments in mobile and fixed capital in order to potentially explain why they were not finding changes in household consumption.
