Evaluation of the Australian NGO Cooperation Program (ANCP)
The ANCP is a successful and highly valued program. It identifies positive features which might usefully inform the Australian Government’s approach to a number of other development programs and partnerships. It also highlights areas for improvement, such as the need to address the complexity and limited transparency associated with funding allocations and to bolster the sharing of knowledge and learning across the partnership.

Gender sense & sensitivity – Policy evaluation on women’s rights and gender equality 2007-2014
The evaluation found that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has struggled with mainstreaming the equal rights for women and men principle into development aid policies. The report calls for increasing gender sensitivity, for analysing women’s specific constraints, needs and priorities. It underlines the importance of a long-term commitment to gender equality coupled with a sensible dose of realism on what effectively can be accomplished.

Evaluation of the MDG3 Fund – ‘Investing in Equality’ 2008-2011
This evaluation informs on how the MDG3 Fund has been put into practice and what is known of its results. Looking at the types of activities financed by the Fund, 80% of the projects undertook policy influencing, lobby and advocacy. It is a sub-study of the policy evaluation on women’s rights and gender equality conducted by IOB.

Work in Progress – Evaluation of the ORET Programme : Investing in Public Infrastructure in Developing Countries
The Development Related Export Transactions program (ORET) is a subsidy facility. It has addressed important obstacles for development by co-financing the construction and rehabilitation of public infrastructure in developing countries. ORET has evolved from a programme of mere delivery of capital goods to a programme offering comprehensive infrastructure service packages that were also financially attractive for recipient governments.

Evaluation of the Responsible and Accountable Garment Sector Programme
The Responsible and Accountable Garment Sector Challenge Fund (RAGS) was designed by DFID to support projects aimed at improving conditions of vulnerable workers in the ready-made garment production sector. RAGS supported 12 projects in four countries, India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Lesotho, by providing matching grants to organisations concerned with labour conditions in the garment sector in developing countries.

Evaluation of CIDA's program in Bangladesh 2003-2008
The evaluation examined the relevance, results and overall performance of the bilateral program as well as a limited number of Canadian Partnership and Multilateral channel initiatives. It also looked at the various delivery mechanisms (program-based approaches, multi-donor partnerships, directive and responsive projects) to assess their strengths and weaknesses.

Ex-post Evaluation Report on the Program to Enhance the Vocational Training Capacity of Bangladesh
This is an ex-post evaluation for the project to enhance the Bangladesh Mirpur Vocational Training Center by KOICA. The primary purpose of this evaluation is to analyse success factors or failure factors and to draw lessons for future similar projects. Also, the evaluation suggests improvements for project systems in terms of policy, and apply them to grant type aid policy, and ultimately to contribute to the quality of aid.

Bangladesh: Grameenphone Telecommunications Project and Grameenphone Telecommunications Expansion Project
This performance evaluation report presents the independent evaluation of the Grameenphone telecommunications projects in Bangladesh. It identifies the lessons from the project which can then be used to assist in the design and implementation of future ADB private sector operations in the region, particularly investments in similar projects.
