As part of the capacity building objective of the project, the OECD together with the Ministry of Home Affairs (MOHA) organised a training on Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) for 50 local government officials from six provinces working at province, district and commune levels. The M&E training followed the curriculum of the international training held in Turin, sponsored by the Project in June 2016, where four officials from Viet Nam attended. The national team from MOHA subsequently organised a series of national training at the province level, this one being the fifth on M&E of the. The training allowed participants to reflect on how to translate the National Youth Development Programme to the local context and to develop an appropriate and realistic M&E system.
