Mr. Angel Gurría , Secretary-General of the OECD, will be in Singapore from 31 May to 4 June 2014 to attend the World Cities Summit (WCS) and the Singapore International Water Week (SIWW).
He will participate in dialogue at the Opening session with Khaw Boon Wan, Minister for National Development, take part in the Water Leaders Roundtable, moderate a table on “Innovative Solution for Energy Efficiency in Cities” at CNBC Energy Future Brainstorm and hold meetings with high level officials attending the WCS and SIWW.
While in Singapore Mr. Angel Gurría will also attend the 22nd United Nations Secretary-General's Advisory Board on Water and Sanitation (UNSGAB) meeting, where he will co-Chair a roundtable “GWP-OECD Global Dialogue on Water Security and Sustainable Growth”.
The Secretary-General will also deliver opening remarks at the “G20 Australian Presidency / OECD High-Level Roundtable on Institutional Investors and Long-Term Investment” event.
During his visit in Singapore, the Secretary General will meet with Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Singapore and Khaw Boon Wan, Minister for National Development.
