Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, was in Moscow to attend the Gaidar Forum where he presented the OECD Economic Survey of the Russian Federation.

He also participated in a panel discussion “On the way to the OECD: Perspectives for Russia” which focused on the positive impact Russia’s membership of the OECD could have on the country’s economic development and the well-being of its population. Mr. Gurría’s visit to Moscow included meetings with Prime Minister Medvedev, Deputy Prime Minister Shuvalov and members of the cabinet and the business community.
