Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, made a virtual address to the Empire Club of Canada, “How can Canada build back better? The OECD’s advice”, on 23 February 2021.

The Secretary-General’s remarks focussed on the prospects for the Canadian economy in the context of the global outlook and the COVID-19 pandemic, and how to address underlying problems as the economy emerges from the crisis.

The Secretary-General also engaged in a question-and-answer session following his address.
