14:15-15:30 Session 1. The draft OECD Recommendation on Policy Coherence for Sustainable Development

In this short introductory session, the OECD will provide the background and rationale for the draft Recommendation on PCSD, indicating how its implementation will contribute to advance the 2030 Agenda and the SDGs, and support more effective governance for sustainable development.

15:30 - 16:30 Session 2. Implementing the PCSD Recommendation: getting traction at the national level
Chair: Ms. Satu Santala, Finland
The purpose of this session is to discuss good emerging institutional practices and governance mechanisms in promoting policy coherence for SDG implementation, with a view to develop practical guidance and country case study material, which will accompany the Recommendation to support implementation. Speakers and participants will share their specific experiences (challenges and lessons learnt) in enhancing PCSD.

16:30 - 17:30 Session 3: Partnerships for policy coherence

The purpose of this session is to discuss the complementary roles that diverse stakeholders at the subnational, national and international levels can play in enhancing policy coherence and supporting the implementation of PCSD recommendations.
