    The Climate Challenge and Trade: Would Border Carbon Adjustments Accelerate or Hinder Climate Action?

    The political challenge of implementing border carbon adjustments is real but surmountable, on top of less fluid technical and legal challenges. BCAs would need to be considered as part of a broader policy package for a socially just transition to a low-carbon economy, which takes differentiated responsibilities of countries and corporate perspectives into account.
