OECD World Forums on Well-being

Over the last two decades, the OECD World Forums on Well-being, formerly known as the World Forums on "Statistics, Knowledge and Policy" have been pushing forward the boundaries of well-being measurement and policy. By bringing together thousands of leaders, experts and practitioners from around the world, and from policy, statistics, research, business, philanthropy, and civil society, the Forums have helped to spur action across multiple domains, playing a pivotal role in the "Beyond GDP" movement, and building evidence and know-how to put people’s well-being at the heart of measurement, policy and practice.

We are pleased to announce that the 7th edition of the Forum will take place on 4-6 November 2024 in Rome. Celebrating its 20th anniversary, the Forum will be organised in Italy where the first Forum took place in 2004. Organised in the context of the G7 Presidency of Italy, the Forum will address the value of well-being approaches for improving knowledge, performance and cooperation across the public, private and civil sectors, in a context of societal change. This edition of the Forum is being co-organised by the OECD and the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance, in collaboration with the Italian National Institute of Statistics and the Bank of Italy.
