1 September 2022 - Virtual Seminar - 9 am Paris time - 4 pm Korean time.
Sound laws and regulations grounded in evidence play an essential role in the fight against climate change and other environmental threats.
This joint seminar, organised by the Korean Ministry of Environment and the OECD, provides an overview of the tools and methodologies developed by the OECD Regulatory Policy Committee to help countries design and implement effective and efficient regulatory frameworks to guide green policy decisions and deliver on ambitious climate and environmental goals. It gives insight into the landscape for environmental regulation in Korea and sheds light on recent reform efforts. A panel discussion will discuss challenges and best practices for environmental regulatory reform.
