Learn more about issues affecting upper secondary education

  • Education at a Glance: We use indicators from the OECD's project to understand movement into and through upper secondary education, demographics participating in this level, and their options for further work and tertiary education after schooling.
  • Vocational Education and Training (VET) project: We collaborate with VET project at the OECD in order to understand how upper secondary education can support learners with aspirations to quickly enter professions within the world of work.
  • Career Readiness: The Career Readiness initiative explores what kind of support specifically can help young people understand professional options for their future, and how countries provide this service. 
  • Higher Education Policy: The Higher Education Policy team explores the area of tertiary education, and how its role in the lifelong learning journey is changing.
