    Lithuania must improve foreign bribery enforcement and corporate liability law, says OECD Working Group on Bribery

    Lithuania has a largely sound legislative and policy framework for fighting foreign bribery, and additional efforts such as digitisation of the seeking of bank information for investigations are commendable. However, Lithuania has yet to prosecute or convict an individual or company for foreign bribery. Authorities have also overlooked some allegations of this crime reported in the foreign media, and not proactively investigated others.

    Lithuania strong on renewables and recycling - must do better on transport, agriculture and emissions reductions, says OECD

    Lithuania has significantly boosted its use of renewable energy and waste recycling but needs to do better in managing environmental impacts of transport and agriculture.     OECD invites taxpayer input on sixth batch of Dispute Resolution peer reviews (BEPS Action 14)

    The OECD is gathering input for the Stage 1 peer reviews of Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Croatia, India, Latvia, Lithuania and South Africa, and invites taxpayers to submit input on specific issues relating to access to MAP, clarity and availability of MAP guidance and the timely implementation of MAP agreements for each of these jurisdictions using the taxpayer input questionnaire.
