Objective
The Autonomous Province of Trento, long standing partner of the OECD LEED Centre Trento, has required its collaboration on some issues of priority interest to the Trentino, in order to better assess and address the provincial strategies. To this regard, the promotion and support of new enterprises, with the aim to sustain the local economy and help tackle the problem of youth unemployment, is of crucial importance.
Following this request, the OECD organised three advanced capacity building seminars for public administrators and officers in Trento:
- Youth entrepreneurship | 28 September 2015
- New approaches and instruments to finance SMEs and entrepreneurship | 22 October 2015
- Evaluation of entrepreneurship programmes | 13 November 2015
In these seminars, the OECD presented the most recent analysis, good practices and international experiences regarding the implementation of entrepreneurship policies, and provided inputs for a critical discussion. This exercise offered the opportunity to share knowledge, experiences, opinions and proposals, fostering a more conscious approach to the referred set of problems.
