The Bureau assists in the preparation of the Scheme's plenary meetings and, where necessary, proposes solutions to the OECD Secretariat to deal with urgent problems that may arise from implementation of the Fruit and Vegetables Scheme. The Bureau is convened by the OECD Secretariat at the request of any one of its Members or participating country that provide counsel in writing and invite one or more participating countries to be represented.
